A note to subs about “doms”

In the few short weeks my girl and I have been on tumblr, we’ve met some nice people, but I’ve also had several conversations with subs seeking Masters, Daddies, etc that have me concerned. I want to say something to those girls here.

There are real people on tumblr, but I suspect the vast majority are fakes of one kind or another. It is very easy for a guy to set up a scary looking web page, reblog the right posts, and perhaps even write something himself, and yet have no experience or ability in being a Master. (I saw a 21 year old “Master” who has a “fuckpig for casual encounters” and is looking for more women for “24/7 domination”. Riiiiight….) Women, like you, who are desperate to offer a man your submission, can be fooled very easily.

In my opinion, the majority of the obligation and responsibility is on the side of the Dom. You give him your trust and submission, he must be up to it. For a man to do this right, he must spend a lot of time getting to know you, learning to understand you, and figuring out what makes you tick. If he is not spending time talking to you or interacting with you… warning.

I’d also suggest, if you’ve given men pictures, checking to see if you can find them online. Go to google.com/images, upload a few of your pics, and see if they pop up anywhere else in the search. Knowing what I know about men, I’m sure there are many “doms” who are basically picture collectors, and are probably doing the same thing with 10 women… and likely reposting/sharing pics freely. (Of course, this is most effective when you know who you’ve given what image to…)

Sorry to rant, but I’ve seen the some variation of this story from several people and I’m sure it’s very common. Subs… your submission and trust are a precious gift. Expect them to be treated as such. If they aren’t, move on.

This blog features my thoughts about Dominant /submissive relationships. I can only share my experiences and ideas, I don't pretend to be an expert. Take everything you read here with a grain of salt.

There is beauty and wonder in D/s. At its best, we tread upon the edge of the infinite and dare to touch the holy. This, that awareness of what we are, how small we are in the face of an unsympathetic universe… to lose ourselves in another... this is why we do this thing. It is good, worthy, and important. There are places in human experience that can only be reached by this path. Fear not.

Images on this blog are not owned by me and will be taken down at the owner's request. Assume that everything here is inappropriate if you aren't at least 18 years old, and, if you are at work, well, good luck with that.

I can be reached via email at mugamuchu1@gmail.com if you'd like to avoid tumblr's questionable pm system.
